1. Electric Actuator Type
COVNA electric automated actuators are available in various styles. According to the stroke range, electric actuators can be divided into quarter-turn type and multi-turn type.
Quarter-turn type (90 degrees) is suitable for controlling the opening and closing of ball and butterfly valves.
Multi-turn (360 degrees) is suitable for controlling gate valves, knife gate valves and globe valves. By the way, multi-turn type actuator with gearbox is also suitable for the ball valves and butterfly valves which need a higher torque.
According to the function, electric actuators can be divided into on/off type, modulating type, intelligent type, explosion-proof type, underwater type and auto-return type(fail-safe type).

Underwater type actuator has IP68 protection class which could used underwater without damage.
Auto-return type actuator has a battery. When the power is interrupted and the battery will drive the valve close or open.
