How Gate Valve Works

Gate valve is a linear industrial valve. The gate moves vertically up or down with the rotation of the handwheel to transport or cut off the medium. The gate valve is bidirectional and has no flow direction requirements. The gate valve is a wedge-shaped valve plate, which can cut off the medium with particles, which is very suitable for flow control of pulp, cement, etc.

Valve body: The valve body is used to cover and protect the remaining gate valve parts. There are flanges at both ends, welded or threaded connections, used to connect to the pipeline. Generally, the valve body is made of stainless steel, carbon steel or cast iron.

Valve stem: The valve stem is the part that connects the driver and the door. Mainly used for linear upward or downward movement to drive the valve to open or close.

Gate: The main function of the gate is to prevent or allow the flow of the medium. It follows the valve stem to move up or down in a straight line to open or close the valve.

Actuation: We will provide manual gate valve, electric gate valve and pneumatic gate valve for your choice. The advantage of electric or pneumatic gate valves is that they can be easily controlled remotely.

Application of Gate Valve

The application range of gate valves is very wide, including the following industries:

● Petroleum and natural gas

● Wastewater treatment and water treatment

● food processing

● Paper and pulp

● Cement plant

● Oil refining

Providing high-quality fluid control solutions for major industries.
