Description Before installation of Wafer Butterfly Valve:
1. Before installation and operation, clean the external objects on the pipe with air spray, and clean the inner surface of the pipe with clean water.
2. Carefully check whether the use of the valve is in line with its performance specifications.
3. Check the valve passage and sealing surface whether there is sundry, and timely clearance.
4. Install the valve in time after opening the box. Do not loosen any fastening screw or nut on the valve.
5. Clip-on butterfly valve must use a special butterfly valve flange.
6. Electric butterfly valve can be installed at any angle of the pipeline, for the convenience of maintenance, it is recommended not to install upside down.
7. The butterfly valve flange must be installed to ensure that the flange face and sealing rubber in the center, screw evenly screwed, sealing surface must be integrated; if there is uneven screw tightening force will appear rubber convex stuck butterfly plate, or against the disc causing leakage at the stem.
Installation Steps of Wafer Butterfly Valve:
The correct installation of the clip-type butterfly valve is related to the sealing degree of the butterfly valve, as well as will not leak and other issues, including working conditions in the safety, the user should be aware of the installation process.
1. Place the valve between the two pre-installed flanges, as shown, and note that the bolt holes are aligned.
2. Insert four pairs of bolts and nuts gently into the flange hole. Tighten the nuts slightly to correct the flatness of the flanged surface.
3. Fix the flange to the pipe by spot welding.
4. Remove the valve.
5. Completely weld the flange to the pipe.
6. Install the valve after the weld has cooled. Make sure that the valve has enough room in the flange to prevent damage to the valve and that the valve plate has a certain opening.
7. Correct valve position and tighten four pairs of bolts (do not tighten them too tightly).
8. Open the valve so that the plate is free to open and close, then slightly open the plate
9. Cross balance tighten all nuts.
10. Double-check that the valve opens and closes freely. Note: Make sure the plate does not touch the pipe.
The installation of the clip-type butterfly valve must first be placed flat before installation, remember not to randomly bump, in the installation of the time it will be drawn into the installation of the length, in the field of pipeline design, do not remove the wafer butterfly valve without special permission. This is something we should know before installation. At the same time, you should also know that the wafer butterfly valve can be installed in any position, but after the wafer butterfly valve installation is completed, the butterfly valve needs to be laid along the line, the wafer butterfly valve makes a bracket, and once the bracket is made, it is strictly forbidden to remove the bracket when using it.
