The following 3 kinds of faults may occur in the daily use of the wafer type electric butterfly valve due to improper operation: valve can not change direction or change direction slowly, gas leakage, solenoid pilot valve failure.

Generally, because of poor lubrication, the spring is stuck or damaged, oil or impurities stuck sliding part of the reasons. In this regard, should first check whether the work of the oil mist normal; whether the viscosity of the oil is appropriate. (2) Gas Leakage
After a long period of use, the wafer type electric actuated butterfly valve is easy to appear the phenomenon of Spool seal ring wear, stem and seat damage, resulting in gas leakage in the valve, valve action is slow or can not normally change direction and so on. At this point, should replace the seal ring, stem and seat, or will electric actuated butterfly valve for a new.
(3) The Electromagnetic Pilot Valve Is Out Of Order
If the inlet and exhaust holes of the solenoid pilot valve are blocked by mud and other sundries, the seal is not strict, the movable iron core is jammed, the circuit is faulty, etc. . For the first 3 cases should be cleaned on the pilot valve and movable iron core sludge and impurities. But the circuit fault generally divides into the control circuit fault and the electromagnetic coil fault two kinds.
Before checking the circuit failure, the manual knob of the wafer type motorized butterfly valve should be rotated several times to see whether the wafer type motorized butterfly valve can normally change direction under the rated air pressure. When checking, the instrument can be used to measure the voltage of the electromagnetic coil to see whether the rated voltage is reached. If the voltage is too low, the power supply in the control circuit and the related stroke switch circuit should be further checked.
If the rated voltage on the wafer type electrically operated butterfly valve can not normally reverse, should check whether the electromagnetic coil connector (plug) loose or contact is not true. Pull the plug and measure the resistance of the coil. If the resistance is too large or too small, the coil is damaged and should be replaced.
