4 Common Problems Of Electromagnetic Valve And Their Solutions

Solenoid valve also named electromagnetic valve. The electromagnetic valve is composed of electromagnetic coil and magnetic core. When the coil is energized or cut off, the operation of the magnetic core will cause the fluid to pass through the valve body or be cut off to change the direction of the fluid.

According to the principle of solenoid valve is divided into three categories: direct-acting, distributed direct-acting and pilot-type; according to the structure is divided into diaphragm solenoid valve and Piston solenoid valve two categories.

Solenoid valve failure will directly affect the switching valve and control valve action, solenoid valve common has the following 4 kinds of failure:

1. Air Leakage

Air Leakage will lead to insufficient air pressure, making it difficult to open and close the forced valve, because the seal gasket damage or sliding valve wear caused by several cavity gas channeling. When dealing with the faults of the solenoid valve in the switching system, the proper time should be chosen. If the solenoid valve is in power loss, the switching system can be suspended and handled calmly if it can not be dealt with in a switching gap.

2. Clogging

The matching clearance between the spool and the spool of the solenoid valve is very small (less than 0.008 mm), which is usually assembled by one piece. When mechanical impurity is brought in or lubricating oil is too little, it is easy to block. The treatment can be made by inserting a steel wire through a small hole in the head to make it spring back. The fundamental solution is to remove the solenoid valve, take out the spool and spool cover, with CCI4 cleaning, so that the spool in the valve cover flexible action. Disassembly should pay attention to the assembly sequence of the components and external wiring location, in order to re-assembly and wiring correct, but also check whether the oil sprayer oil hole plug, lubricating oil is enough.

3. Solenoid Valve Loose Connection Or Loose Thread Head Off

In this case, the solenoid valve does not power, just tighten the head can be.

4. Solenoid Valve Coil Burnt Out

We can remove the solenoid valve wiring, with multimeter measurement, if open circuit, then solenoid valve coil burn. There are reasons for damp coil, causing poor insulation and magnetic leakage, resulting in coil current is too large and burned, so to prevent rainwater into the solenoid valve.

In addition, the spring is too hard, the reaction is too large, the coil turns too little, not enough suction can also make the coil burned. In case of emergency, the manual button on the coil can be turned from the “0″ bit to the “1″ bit to make the valve open.
